2 Corinthians 12:9-10: He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Picked Tyson up from the vet today. He has to wear a cone and he has no depth perception, so there's been a lot of running into walls and then just standing there not sure what to do. I feel so bad for him. I know they say animals have a much higher threshold for pain than people, but it can't not hurt and I wish I could just dope him up for the next 2 weeks and let him sleep through the healing process. They sent him home with 2 days of pain meds... doesn't seem like enough to me... Anyway, he's home. We have him all set up in our bathroom, which is connected to our room, with wet and dry food, live catnip, water, a litter box, his teddy bear and a new bed. I can't wait until the tail is healed and the hair grows back. The vet was right, it will look pretty cute. Right now, though, it looks like a grey sausage.... and when he wiggles it, it just looks wrong. :-(
HAPPY HUMP DAY!
